The Prazak Quartet has a busy international concert schedule this season. First, they head to France for a festival celebrating that country’s native composers, from Debussy and Ravel to the lesser-played Roussel, Koechlin, Dupont and Hahn. Then they travel to Japan to perform ten of Mozart’s string quartets. After that, it’s the Dias da Musica festival in Portgual for the romantic string quartets of Brahms and Dvorak. As if that weren’t enough, they will join celebrated pianist and frequent collaborator Menahem Pressler for some concerts in the UK and the Netherlands. They will return to North America in 2014/15.
The Prazak Quartet has just begun their month-long tour of Japan, which includes a festival in Tokyo as well as visits to eight other cities. They complete the season with brief stops in Manchester, UK and Nohant, France. They return to the United States this fall with concerts in Miami, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Mill Valley, San Jose, and Tucson.
